Godbold, Malpere & Co. was formed in December of 1994 by N. Terry Godbold and Mary Jo Godbold each Members of the American Academy of Actuaries and Associates in the Casualty Actuarial Society. Godbold, Malpere & Co. is conveniently located in the beautiful suburban community of Roswell just outside of Atlanta, Georgia.

Terry and Mary Jo became the first husband and wife team to become
members of the Casualty Actuarial

Society and achieved this historic accomplishment together in 1974. Each had worked in the corporate world with some of the most well- known property and casualty insurance companies from 1970-1985 (Hartford Insurance Group, Great American and at the time Capital Holding Corporation). Terry started a national casualty actuarial consulting practice for Arthur Young & Co. in 1986 and became partner for the firm Ernst & Young with the merger of Arthur Young and Ernst & Whinney in 1989.

Both actuaries wanted to continue the building process of developing a consulting practice that places customer service, quality professional actuarial work and efficient and cost effective practices at the forefront. With a philosophy of listening, solving business and operational issues and responding to clients in a timely, clear and concise manner, Godbold, Malpere & Co. has grown each year and now has five employees serving clients throughout the United States and Bermuda. The company is continuing to grow but is small enough to work one-on-one with its clients.
